Mr. Boyd directly manages and provides leadership for client projects.
Possessing diversified experience in organizational leadership and
technical project management, Mr. Boyd has lead and performed in corporate, government, manufacturing and engineering operational
environments.
In addition to direct program and project life-cyle management experience,
he has significant experience with operations, process and product start-up projects, including the selection and establishment
of infrastructure and systems to support sustainable business growth while reacting to the rapidly changing demands
of these highly challenging environments.
Prior to establishing ProjectWorks Inc., Mr. Boyd served as the North
American Director of Engineering for a global medical equipment manufacturer,(a Danaher Company), held progressive
management positions with Bayliner Marine Corporation,(a Brunswick Company), Kimberly-Clark, and served as a nuclear trained
officer in the United States Navy.
Mr. Boyd earned his Bachelor of Science degree in Mechanical Engineering
from the United States Naval Academy, Annapolis, MD.
He is a licensed Professional Engineer (PE) in Washington State, and a
certified Project Management Professional (PMP) by Project Management Institute.

- Operational Start-Up Planning and Implementation:
Project Manager for multiple start-up operations including, business plan development, capital appropriations, facilities
and services planning and construction, operations planning, implementation and succession.
- Program and System Development: Principle in charge
and program manager, to establish project teams to complete; product development, sustaining and process engineering
work. Established methods, infrastructure and organizational integration to improve company performance and capabilities.
- New Technology and Process Commercialization: Principle
in charge and multiple project manager for the development and commercialization of proprietary automated manufacturing systems.
Technical project work has secured patents of strategic importance to the parent organization.
- Facilities and Assets: Project Manager for defining
requirements, planning and completing development, adaptation, contracting and construction of manufacturing
and industrial facilities and equipment.
- Product Development: Program and Project Manager for
multiple medical equipment product design projects. Scope of work included initiation through market introduction.
- US Military Defense Systems: As a nuclear trained
Navy Officer, responsible for the management and supervision of integrated power plant operations, testing and maintenance
on board the Navy's largest class of Aircraft Carrier. Played a lead supervisory role in the successful completion
of an extensive 13-month overhaul, and served as the Nuclear Quality Assurance Officer.
